Gamification

Gamification is the strategic attempt to enhance systems, services, organizations, and activities in order to create similar experiences to those experienced when playing games in order to motivate and engage users.

Gamification is the use of game design elements in non-game contexts in order to engage and motivate people to achieve specific goals. It involves incorporating elements such as points, achievements, leaderboards, and competitions into activities that are not traditionally seen as games in order to increase motivation and engagement. Gamification can be used in a variety of settings, including education, marketing, and health care. For example, gamification might be used in an educational setting to encourage students to complete tasks or learn new material, or it might be used in a health care setting to motivate people to exercise or make healthier choices. Gamification can be effective in increasing motivation and engagement, but it is important to ensure that it is used appropriately and ethically.
