Ghislaine Maxwell ‘dropped by lawyers after not paying bills’

Ghislaine Maxwell’s lawyers have dropped the jailed socialite as a client after alleging she failed to pay her bills, it was reported last night.

Maxwell is serving a 20-year prison sentence in Florida after being convicted of child on behalf of her former boyfriend Jeffrey Epstein.

She had employed the law firm Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer in the US Virgin Islands, where she had sued the Epstein estate — alleging the disgraced financier had promised to pay her legal fees before his 2019 suicide.
