LifeGuard Group Brings Interactive Virtual Reality Training to the NWGIA Training Symposium

AUSTIN, Texas – Aug. 10, 2022 – PRLog — The staff of The LifeGuard Group have trained well over 10,000 American high school and middle school students to recognize and respond to human trafficking, and their experience working directly with these students has led them to a realization: ending human trafficking is not just an emergency worldwide, it's an emergency in rural America.

They had been looking for a way to connect with students in a more direct way, but nothing seemed up to the task.

Tami Hochhalter, Director of Development at The LifeGuard Group, and her son, Carson, Vice President and Director of Operations, attended the Greater Rockies Interactive Training Conference in Wyoming, and immediately knew they found the right tool.

She says, “When we were introduced to TRAPPED: A VR Detective Story, we knew that we had to work with Radical Empathy because this experience connects with people in a way not possible before, through a completely interactive story. We believe it is the future of training, and we're happy to let know it is an option available right now.”

The LifeGuard group will be training attendees of the 27th Annual Northwest Gang Investigators Association Training Symposium with their software.

The NWGIA symposium features “leading edge” training speakers sharing relevant information to enhance officer safety, investigations, intelligence operations, and general knowledge of criminal gang activity, to ensure successful prosecution, public education, prevention, and intervention.

Radical Empathy's VR software is available for trainers to license through a direct licensing agreement, and operates on affordable Oculus Quest VR headsets licensees purchase themselves. Active licensees receive 24 hour a day support and future software enhancements. Learn more at reefcares.org/contact.

The LifeGuard Group can be met live at the NWGIA Training Symposium from August 1st to 5th, 2022.
