Couple, 4 Others Booked For Human Trafficking | Chandigarh News – Times of India

Hisar: The Hisar police have registered a case against six persons, including a couple from Lucknow, for allegedly trying to “sell” a 15-year-old girl in Hisar.

Charges have also been framed against a man for attempting to rape the minor from Uttar Pradesh.

Police are investigating the matter but so far none of the accused has been arrested.

Hisar police said that Agroha police station has registered a case on the complaint of a 15-year-old minor girl from Uttar Pradesh against Sheela Chauhan, her husband Ryan, resident of Lucknow, Rajkumar, Sonu, Sonu's brother and an unknown person, all residents of Hisar and Fatehabad.

The girl told the police that her mother died when she was four and she stayed with her maternal grandparents, who used to beat her up.

Her uncle got her admitted in the school hostel and on May 20, she went to her aunt's house and got into a fight with her and came to Lucknow railway station, she said.
